“It is easy to read and understand and I especially liked the wiring between the brain, body and heart line. It’s something I need to start doing.”

“Loved it – so in a nutshell accept who you are or they are in that time and spot! No one is ever going to be 100% – humanly impossible to achieve.”

“I am not everything that has ever happened to me, I am everything I became when I healed. Stronger but softer. Focused but not obsessed. A teacher but still a student. I am not broken. Credit goes to you Ruchi. Thank you 🙏”

“Oh my goodness… this is amazing… so easy to follow and feels like you are talking to me and in the most helpful productive way ❤️ thank you for sharing. Keep up the incredible work you are giving to humanity 💪”

“It is interesting how you are giving a guide line to what one’s doing and why one can do… on how to evolve as in actually pointing out stuff and giving an answer to it. And while reading you do realize that one does do these things subconsciously.”

“Ruchi!! – that I forgot to tel you know how impressed I am with your beautiful book. I absolutely LOVE the page format where you can take it out and sit with the message. SO unique. I’ve never seen that before and it is so well crafted. I know you must be proud. Late congratulations on your incredible book.”

“Okay – so far I have only read the the title ‘Cognitive load can be quite heavy to carry.’ It reminds me of a conversation I had with you where I asked, ‘Why is the stress so bad now compared to when we were younger?’ Your answer to that question is literally something I think about almost daily. You are making such a positive difference in my life! So excited to keep ready!”

“I have been through decades of therapy and what is shared in the book was very helpful than all of the therapy I’ve ever received.”

I’m a bit of a design nerd, and fell for the interactive design. It’s hands-on, and propped up in my creative space at home on the foldable easel. I was a little leery about the price, but once We, Humans was in my hands it quickly became apparent that it was worth it. Those design choices change the way the reader interacts with the book: shuffling, sharing, or “flipping through” the book become a different experience.

This is IO Psych taken from the theoretical to the applied and inspired for the everyday individual. 10/10

Bottom line i love this book- it’s simple but also at times above immediate understanding. Which is wonderful because it forces that intentional pause we all need. Reflection is so priceless. So I find that I dont immediately understand each chapter but that each chapter plants a little seed that then slowly but surely grows into a self reflective seedling which causes me to return and read it- then do more pausing and reflecting. When I end up really knowing I needed it and it placed itself as a fruit in me is when I recite or explain a concept to a fellow human, and invite them to humanness with me. I’m surprised how when something embedds how easy it feels and how simple I feel it is to explain share and grow. Still I’m needing to return more than I think the author might to the materials for a reread. Rereading it is powerful.

We, Humans isn’t a book you read—it’s a book you experience. Ruchi Shah has created something rare: a reflection toolkit that is as intellectually sharp as it is soulfully grounded. With just one card a day, you’re invited to step into a moment of clarity, compassion, and connection with yourself.

Each of the 35 unbound chapters distills big, often tangled human experiences—like vulnerability, belonging, boundaries, and truth—into beautifully articulated prompts that make you pause and think deeply. The fact that it’s designed as a physical easel, rather than a linear book, encourages interaction, conversation, and rotation. I found myself revisiting certain cards again and again, always finding something new in them.

Ruchi’s voice is wise without being preachy, and gentle without losing its edge. Whether you’re on a personal growth journey or looking to spark meaningful conversations with others, We, Humans is a powerful tool that meets you where you are—and nudges you a little closer to where you want to be.

When I first read the book – I thought of it as a life’s manifesto. The design, the process, the short chapters and the breadth of topics covered. It was as though I was getting humanizing tips on how to address the core issue. After reading this book – my approach to reading any other self-help material changed. This book became the guiding principle on my gaining insights from others.
It took me time to imbibe the authors process of pause, linger, human – and once I started doing it I understood each manifestation.
For any new reader, I highly recommend the small booklet first. Read it multiple times to understand the “how” and then each chapter is a revelation. Also don’t try to go thru it at one go. Pick it when you want and flip away.
Can’t wait for more from Ruchi Shah.

Great insight into simple everyday human behavior. Love the thoughtful presentation of the book, such a lovely gift idea too if you can part with it.

“Hi! Ok so the information that you shared with me, not to be dramatic, completely changed my life… from a personal level being able to navigate my own thoughts, emotions and feelings has given me a better understanding of myself to my core. This has given me a sense of power and understanding what I feel the different ways that I do in different circumstances. It has made me feel so centered and calm and in control of the conversations I have in my head instead of drama and chaos… I am less anxious and am able to navigate my temperament in any situation… It has also given me the ability to read other people’s behaviors as well which has helped in not being reactive to others demeanor towards me. In addition it has helped my relationship with my husband and family members as well… the communication is more productive as opposed to defensive or reactive and after sharing this information with my close loved ones it has just snowballed into better quality of life because the ability to understand ourselves leads to more genuine and unified-in-the-moment moments with each other. The ability to be angered or offended by others is a much more difficult task because there is understanding of why did I ever feel angered or offended by any topic in the first place: this has forced us to look inside as opposed to expecting others to not be offensive or insensitive because most things really are an internal issue. I will forever be grateful because I genuinely feel like I have a new outlook on life because I now better understand myself.”
